                 Adjective الصفة 

                                      هي كلمه تصف الاسم وتأتي قبله 

    مثال : 

                         a fat man

            * وتأتي بعد فعل يكون.

   مثال :

                   . Ali is clever

    لاحظ

          انه يوجد 1-صفه قصير المقطع one syllable

   مثال :

                fast ،  سريع - slow _ tall

               2- صفة طويلة المقطع more than one syllable

                    وعاده ما تنتهي ب ing, ous., ed, ful

مثال :

             beautiful  , - interesting, _enormous, excited.

                      Comparative degree -1

               صيغة المقارنة بين اثنيين 

  *A - لاحظ انه عند المقارنة بين شيئين او شخصين مع الصفة قصيرة المقطع نضف                   الصفة er وبعدها كلمه than.

   مثال :

                   .  Ali is taller than Ahmed

         القاعده : 

                      صفة قصيره المقطع  + than + er

• My house is larger than hers.
• This box is smaller than the one I lost.

    B-وعند المقارنه بين شيئين او شخصين مع الصفة طويله المقطع نضف قبل الصفة              more  بمعنى اكثر من أو less بمعنى اقل من  ثم  than

  مثال :

               . Mona is more beautiful than Hoda *

  القاعده :

               more او less +الصفة طويله المقطع +than 

• This sweater is less expensive than that one.
• 1- The train is more quickly than the car.
                    ( القطار أكثر سرعة من السيارة )
  
  2- This film is more interesting than the other.
                       ( هذا الفيلم أكثر تشويقا من الاخر )
                                                                    

•                                                                           :  ملحوظه
• _يمكن استخدام less قبل الصفات قصيره المقطع. 

مثال :                                                                               

 . Sultan is less tall than his friend

1- عند المقارنه بين اكثر من شيئين مع الصفه قصيره المقطع نضف للصفه est ,وقبلها  .the 

مثال :                                                                                      

. Ali is the tallest boy in the 

class  * 

 

ملحوظه:                                                                                

A_لاحظ استخدام التفضيل مع الكلمات first - Second.... 

مثال :                                                                                     

. Muscat is the first largest city in Egypt 

B-لاحظ استخدام المضارع التام بعد صفه التفضيل. 

مثال:                                                                                    

  . It's the most boring film I 've ever watched 

2- وعند المقارنه بين  اكثر من شيئين مع الصفة طويله المقطع نضف قبل الصفه the most الاكثر او the least الاقل .

مثال :                                                                                          

                                                                                    

. The lion is the most dangerous animal in the zoo *

**صفات المساواة                                        

                                    

 * عند المساواه بين الصفات نضع الصفه مجرده اي بدون إضافات بين as...... as. بمعنى مثل.  

مثال :                                                                                         

     

. Ali is as tall as Ahmed                           

                                  

. He isn't as tall as  his friend                         

 

**الصفات الشاذه Irregular Adjectives   

         

good -  better than - the best   -1   *   جيد                           

 

2- bad  - worse than   - the worst * سيئ                            

         

3- much , many  -  more than  -  the most *   كثير                          

         

          

4- far -  farther than  -  the farthest  /the furthest *  بعيد                           

  

5- little -  less than  - the least * قليل
