            ** The Past Perfect Tense , 

زمن الماضي التام 

     . After Ali had done his home work   , he went    to  bed  

   THE FORM تكوين زمن الماضي التام 

     Had + PP  

            The Usage : الاستخدام 

   - يعبر الماضي التام عن حدث في الماضي اكتمل قبل حدث اخر في الماضي . 

  مثال : 

        .  As soon as I had heard the news i hurried to see him 

** لاحظ  

           الروابط التي ياتي بعدها زمن الماضي التام كحدث اول  و في الجمله الثانيه                         ياتي زمن  الماضي البسط كحدث ثاني

   مثل :

               After بعد  ,  و As Soon As بمجرد ان 

             .  After I had written the letter , my boss arrived * 

 
      ** لاحظ ايضا  

           الروابط التي ياتي بعدها الماضي البسيط في الجمله الاولي كحدث اول

  

                وياتي زمن الماضي التام  في الجمله الثانيه كحدث ثاني .

     امثله:   

       . By the time  I arrived at the cinema , the filmhad started  *


            . When I got home , my mother had washed my clothes *

                          . Before I took the medicine , I had had a meal *

     **لاحظ قاعده Till \ until 
                 .. ياتي بعدهما ماضي تام وقبلها ماضي بسيط منفي 

      مثال : 

            . He didn't go to bed until he had done his home work *


     ملحوظة هامة :

    *اذا لم ياتي فاعل بعد الرابط يعامل كحرف جر وياتي بعده فعل مضاف له ing او اسم 

     مثال : 

                      . After doing his homework , he went to bed -

                                        . After dinner , we wen for awal -

                   اضافات في الماضي التام : 

         استخدام             Having + pp       بدلا من After  


   مثال : 

                 . Having done his homework , he went to bed -
=  .................................After he had done his homework - 

   **لاحظ  no sooner اتت في المنتصف بعد الفعل المساعد والتصريغ الثالث  ثم                than  زمن الماضي البسيط  . 

      . He had no sooner left the house than it began to rain -
