الروابط  Conjunctions

1- روابط السبب Cause 

وتسخدم لتبين سبب حدوث الشئ وتجيب علي السؤال ب   ? why

A- روابط السب التي ياتي بعدها جمله .. 

امثله

                  : because , since , as بمني بسب وياتي بعدهم فاعل وفعل ...

مثال :                                                                                                       

 . I can't go fishing because ,as , since the weather is very cold *

                          .  Ali was punished because he behaved badly*   

B- روابط سبب ياتي بها بعدها اسم  او فعل مضاف له  ing 

امثله :

  .ing فعل  مضاف له اوnoun  اسم + because , due to ,بسب owing to . on  account of

. Ali was absent from school of his illness ...his being ill

        . I can't go for a swim because of the cold weather 

 . Osama was punished because of behaving badly 

...his bad behavior 

 2- روابط التناقض contrast 

** امثله لروابط التناقض التي ياتي بعدها جمله ..

but ولكن , although بالرغم من , though . even though , even if حتي لو , however بالرغم من 

1-  ولكن وتوضع في منتصف الجمله وتربط بين جملتين متناقضتين but ,  

              

مثال :  

                                                                                                          

 . He is poor but he is happy 

    2- Although ,  , though علي الرغم من وياتي بعدهم فاعل وفعل وياتوا في بدايه الجمله او المنتصف 

even if حتي لو - even though بالرغم من

امثله :   

                                                                                                      

          . Although he was strong , he couldn't work  #

       . Although he was hungry , he refused to eat #

 . I'm going to buy this shirt even if it is too large  #

 

3- However علي الرغم من 

تاتي في بدايه الجمله او في منتصف الجملة 

مثال:                                                                                        

                . However strong he was . he couldn't work               

.  He was hungry . However he refused to eat  

                B- روابط تناقض ياتي بها بعدها اسم  او فعل مضاف له  ing      

despite / in spite of +  noun or verb + ing علي الرغم من 

 . Despite /In spite of his strength  , he couldn't work 

              Despite  being strong . he couldn't work 

# لاحظ جيدا انه اتي بعد الرابط despite او in spite of اسم او فعل مضاف له ing              

# لاحظ ايضا ان الاسم من الصفه strong بتكون strength  او ترك الصفه ونضع قبلها being  

 . Despite his writing badly , he got high marks 

# لاحظ انه اتي بعد الرابط فعل مضاف له ing
